LMFAO. I JUST WATCH IT FOR KAHLAN MAN. AND THE FACT THAT MY FAVORITE BOOK SERIES WAS TURNED INTO A TV SHOW, AS DUMBED DOWN AND LAME AS THEY MADE IT TO BE ;; but hkjlhk I totally know what you mean! although you'd think with all the money Sam Raimi has made making Xena, Hercules, The Ring movies, Spider-man movies - he'd have a nice big chunk to spend on better FX :(
Apparently Sam Raimi thinks it's just not classic fantasy TV if it doesn't have a bit of wobbly set syndrome.
She has her big redemption arc in Faith of the Fallen, but I'm pretty sure she shows up in #2, Stone of Tears? Probably the TV series isn't up to all the Sorceress stuff yet. ):
I'm only just re-reading book one and two now. I've read up to book 8 but hkhlkh that's about it. The TV series is all over the place D: Kahlan's already gone through her Con Dar man!
